Welcome To MBSR At Flow!

Find Greater Calm and Resilience with Mindfulness

Learn to reduce stress, ease anxiety, and live with greater calm:
✔ Build self-awareness
✔ Respond thoughtfully to stress
✔ Shift reactive habits into intentional actions

We are excited to announce the return of our Winter Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) program, the renowned course developed by Jon Kabat-Zinn and taught worldwide. Recognized as the gold standard in mindfulness meditation training, MBSR is the most trusted and scientifically researched program of its kind, originally created at the University of Massachusetts Medical School.

What makes this offering even more special? Flow Yoga Center is the only place in the DMV offering MBSR in person. While virtual sessions were a necessity during the pandemic, we believe there’s nothing quite like the transformative experience of practicing MBSR together, face-to-face, in community.

Flow offers MBSR programs throughout the year, both in our studio and for corporate partners

What to Expect:

Embark on a transformative journey with MBSR, incorporating meditation, mindful yoga, and inquiry to unravel stress-inducing habits of the mind. Each session provides an experiential journey within a supportive learning and practice environment. Guided meditations support practice outside of sessions, encouraging daily formal meditation and various informal exercises.
