Prana Vinyasa Continuing Education 2015

"I am deeply grateful to Flow and especially to Jess Lazar and Greg Marzullo for bringing Prana Flow Teacher Training to DC., with the blessing and participation of Shiva Rea.  This exciting and challenging course not only teaches the forms of prana flow but transmits the living practice as a developing art form.  For anyone who wants to deepen their understanding of the prana tradition, participate in growing a young practice, or widen their creative and spiritual yogic base, this is a wonderful opportunity."  Prana Vinyasa Graduate 2014

"The prana teacher training was truly beyond my wildest expectations. I almost can't imagine not having gone through it. Jess and Greg are great teachers, but as teachers' teachers they are exceptional. The incredible insight I've gotten into the art of teaching prana flow has given me a deep appreciation of the style that captured my heart, as well as the tools I need to share it with others. I couldn't recommend it strongly enough to those who are interested in yoga as not only a physical practice but also a spiritual and metaphysical journey." Justin McLeod, Prana Vinyasa Graduate 2014

"Jess and Greg did an excellent job of teaching the essence of what Shiva Rea is giving to the Yoga world. When Shiva came to DC to teach a module, I felt a seamless transition between them. Jess and Greg have embodied what Prana Flow means.  The module is very comprehensive and although there's much to learn, Jess and Greg imparted their vast knowledge of how to digest it all, one pose, one mantra, one puja at a time." Juliet Stovall, Prana Vinyasa Graduate 2014

Join master teacher Shiva Rea and beloved DC teachers -- Jessica Lazar & Greg Marzullo, and many more -- for DC’s 300-hour Prana Vinyasa® teacher training program, hosted by Flow Yoga Center. This certification merges the great rivers of Tantra, Yoga, Ayurveda, Buddhist Philosophy and much more. The approach to learning is at once embodied, ecstatic, creative and synthesis-oriented, and is especially complementary to the self-motivated yoga practitioner who wants to integrate diverse life experience under the Great Tree of Yoga.

We aim to provide our teachers with a broad and deep base of Vinyasa Flow, by which they are empowered to live and teach Prana Vinyasa®. The entire program offers teachers over twenty sun salutations, as well as fifteen Prana Flow® series, that encompass the full range of yogic experience -- from meditation to advanced asanas -- as potent forms of activism and service.

Your study of Prana Vinyasa® will be both practical and experiential, bringing you into the rhythm of your life as a householder and a teacher. We seek to guide practitioners toward balance and integration: of the ancient roots and modern methodology of Yoga with the teacher’s freedom to discover and express an evolutionary and liberated path of study and practice — with Shiva and all other teachers.

Our program is open to all yoga students and teachers.

If you have any immediate questions please feel free to email PranaFlowDC@gmail.com.
