Flow Yoga Center Teacher Training

Whether you are interested in learning to teach yoga or would like to deepen your own practice, Flow's Teacher Training program, is committed to the personal success of every participant. Our 200 hour certification program provides a comprehensive introduction to the fundamentals of teaching yoga with an emphasis on the Vinyasa style. The program is certified by the nationally recognized Yoga Alliance and upon graduation, participants will receive 200hr RYT Certification. Expect an incredibly enriching experience that will go beyond the standards set forth by Yoga Alliance. Participants will be immersed in a program rich in the full spectrum of all that is yoga: vibrant, purposeful, authentic, conscious, joyful, spiritual and transformative.

Throughout the training, participants will be encouraged to explore their full abilities in both body and spirit and be prepared to teach yoga with clarity and joy. Our team of creative & enthusiastic teachers will guide you through this well organized program with intelligence and compassion. The training begins each Fall,  and is held over 13 weekends (September through February) and consists of more than 200 hours of direct hours led by Debra Perlson- Mishalove along with senior Flow Teachers including Megan Davis, Hugh Byrne, Jessica Lazar, Cory Bryant, Greg Marzullo as well as opportunities to learn from nationally known yoga teachers, including Alison West, Alanna Kaivalya, and David Kyle and other special guest.

For the majority of the training program, we will meet twice a month in weekend immersions to be held at Flow's studios. We realize the majority of participants in the program have time constraints and outside responsibilities, therefore the entire program is designed to support your current lifestyle as you experience your teacher training and deepen your connection to yoga and your practice!

Teacher Training Feedback

In the two years since I graduated from teacher training at Flow, I've changed careers and moved cross country. To say that the experience was transformative would be an understatement! As I continue my studies, I'm so grateful for the strong foundation I have not only from my teacher training at Flow but also from my years as a student there. Debra and the other teachers taught me so much about yoga on and off the mat, community and how to find my own voice. I'm now teaching in San Francisco and was recently named one of the "8 Greats Under 30" in Common Ground magazine's profile of yoga teachers in the Bay Area. Keep up with me on my blog, shanti*love*yoga, and sometimes over at elephant journal too! Lindsay Jean Thomson
