Q:
Can you tell me more about the accommodations?
A: When you register you have a choice of accommodations including camping, the lodge house, teepee or a cabin. Camp sites, cabins and teepees are very rustic and located throughout the beautiful wilderness property at the Abrams Creek Campground and Retreat Center. There are port-o-potties and a public shower house for all those staying in cabins, teepees, and camp sites. Those in the lodge house will have access to one indoor bathroom. For anyone who selects camping accommodations, you'll need to supply your own tent and sleeping equipment. If you're in a teepee, you'll need to bring your own sleeping equipment. The lodge house rooms include twin size bunk beds and sleep 4-8 people per room. Cabins (both shared and private) include full and twin size beds, sleep 6-8 people per cabin and include a common area. Both lodge house and cabin accommodations are comfortable, but simple -- and you'll need to bring bed linens, pillows, blankets and towels. Washroom facilities are located in the lodge house and in the camp ground.
Q: Can I request a roommate?
A: You can request a roommate when you register or send us a quick email indicating your roommate preference.
Q: Are children invited to come to the retreat?
A: Yes! What's more, children under 5 may attend for free, if camping with parent(s) or sharing the bed of their parent(s). Children over 5, or any child requiring his/her own bed must be registered and paid for separately. There will not be child care at the retreat, so please plan accordingly.
Q: Are pets permitted at the retreat site?
A: Yes, dogs are permitted on the premises but must be on a leash at all times, well-socialized, and quiet at night.
Q: I hear that there are some fabulous body workers coming to Rejuventation. Is it possible to get a massage while I'm there?
A: Yes, many talented body workers will be with us during the retreat and have agreed to offer their services at discounted rates. You will be able to arrange a convenient time for their services such as Reiki, Thai Yoga Massage, Energy Work throughout your stay.
