Individual and Small Groups Private Lesson Options

The study of yoga began as a dialogue between teacher and student. Here at Flow we honor that tradition by offering by offering Private Yoga  for individual students or small groups. Private sessions are a great way to meet your individual needs for body-mind health, relaxation and stress management. Whether you are brand new to yoga, have a physical condition that needs special attention, or you would just like to have a specialized consultation regarding your personal yoga practice we highly recommend private sessions.

Yoga Therapy
Yoga therapy encompasses a wide range of applications and is used to treat injuries and chronic conditions of the cardiovascular, musculoskeletal, nervous, gastrointestinal, respiratory, and reproductive, and endocrine systems. Yoga therapy addresses conditions on the physical, psychological and spiritual levels and assists in the recovery from and management of injuries and chronic conditions.  More info about yoga therapy at

Meditation is the simple and direct practice of moment-to-moment mindfulness. Through careful and sustained observation, we experience the ever-changing flow of the mind/body process. With cultivated awareness we are able to accept more fully the pleasure and pain, fear and joy, sadness and happiness that inevitably occur in life. As insight deepens, we develop greater equanimity and peace in the face of change, and wisdom and compassion increasingly become the guiding principles of our lives. Our experienced meditation teacher, Hugh Byrne can give you the tools you need to begin or expand an already existing practice.

Flow Fit
Flow Fit gets personal!  Work one on one with an experienced Flow Fit teacher to enhance strength, balance, conditioning and coordination through a blend of cardio, yoga, strength training and encouragement. Private sessions are completely customizable based on your goals.

Pilates offers an approach to strength and flexibility training with exercises created to strengthen abdominal and back muscles while developing pelvic stability and abdominal control. A great compliment to any yoga practice, it promotes ease and efficiency of movement through focused, slow, careful and controlled exercise. The mind/body awareness developed in Pilates will improve your posture and form in all areas of your fitness program.

Private dance instruction is a great way to build confidence in your dance steps! Whether you are a couple preparing for your wedding or special day; or looking for some solo instruction - learn to tango, salsa, waltz, mambo, samba, freestyle - you name it! You can bring your favorite music or we will make appropriate suggestions.

Thai Yoga Therapy
Thai Yoga Therapy utilizes three major techniques to bring healing to the body and focus the mind:  stretching the muscles, ligaments and joints, massaging the of the fascia, and tension release of acupressure points.  Its receivers benefit from increased flexibility, range of motion, muscle tension release and a clearer state of mind.

In-Class Privates
The In-Class Private (ICP) is a unique form of "private yoga instruction" known only to the Jivamukti Yoga Method, and truly a state of the art experience in physical, mental, emotional and spiritual tuning. In the comfort of the hands of a certified Jivamukti Yoga teacher, you are guided in each and every movement throughout the entire experience of a yoga class. The teacher's hands almost never seem to leave your body as they skillfully make minor or major adjustments to the physical form. Whether sitting, standing or in a vinyasa flow you are led with ease. An in-class private is as therapeutic as a full body massage, releasing stored and blocked energy which can inhibit full freedom of movement.
