Yoga Fundamentals
In Yoga Fundamentals you will begin to build the foundation for your yoga practice and receive individualized attention as you gain flexibility, strength, and balance. In each Fundamentals class you will explore specific alignment of asanas (yoga poses) and asana sequences including standing, seated, backbends and sun salutations; as well as the relationship of movement and breath. Yogic breathing, meditation and relaxation techniques will also be introduced, perfect for stress relief and overall well being. Our experienced teachers are available for questions throughout the class. This class is perfect for those just beginning their practice or those who may be looking for a more gentle class. We recommend beginners take at least 8 Yoga Fundamentals classes before launching into some of our more advanced options.

Gentle Yoga
Whether you are brand new to yoga or looking for a more gentle approach, this class is open to all levels and abilities. Soothing in nature, our gentle class focuses on an exploration of basic yoga poses and how to connect them through attention to breathing, alignment and mindfulness. Therapeutic in nature, you will learn techniques to help you gain flexibility, while immersing yourself in a relaxing class that moves at a perfectly slower pace - allowing ample time to enjoy each pose. Expect lots of deep stretching & lingering in yummy floor poses. Meditation and relaxation techniques will also be introduced, perfect for stress relief and overall well being. All levels are welcome.
Harmony Flow
Nurture your soul in this restorative class. Melt away your stress! Progress in your yoga practice doesn’t always occur by “doing”. An equally important aspect of Yoga practice is the ability to let go, to not control, to experience what is without interfering. Restorative poses are an important part of any long term yoga practice: they recharge our energy reserves and heal the effects of stress, bringing conscious relaxation. In a candlelit room, with soothing music, Harmony Flow is the perfect way to unwind. Harmony Flow blends bliss producing restorative poses with some gentle moving meditations and gentle exploration of asanas (poses). Hands-on encouragement and assisting will help give you a deeper experience. This class is sure to leave you feeling relaxed, refreshed and renewed! All levels are welcome to Harmony Flow!
Private Yoga Instruction
At Flow we honor the tradition of yoga as a dialog between teacher and student by offering private instruction for individual students or small groups. Whether you are brand new to yoga, have a physical condition that needs special attention, or you would just like to have a specialized consultation regarding your personal yoga practice we highly recommend the benefits of private sessions. Private instruction may take place in our studio or in your home or workplace. Flow will gladly help students interested in Private Yoga Instruction choose the right teacher. Private session prices range from $85-$150 for each 1 hour session depending on location and number of people in the group. How To Attend Our Classes
Ready to take a class? Simple view our schedule and choose your class. If you are new to Flow you may purchase our new student special 2 classes for $20. You may do this using our online reservation system or by visiting the studio. If you chose to purchase it in person, please arrive 20 minutes prior to your class start time in order to purchase your pass, and to get familiar with Flow! New Students before coming to Flow for the first time, always refer to Studio and Class Tips to find out what to bring, what to wear and to get better acquainted with our center.
After Your First Class
All classes at Flow are drop-in -- no reservations are required, though we recommend getting to the studio at least 15 mintues before your class is scheduled to ensure a space. Alternatively, you may chose to make a reservation, using our online reservation system to reserve and pay, and to check out who is teaching so you save time when you arrive at Flow ready for class. Reservation cancellations must be done by you, using the online reservation system up to 30 minutes before class or your pass will be charged. Online reservations still must arrive before class begins to secure your space. If the reservation system is full, no worries, we always leave 1/2 the spaces available in each class for drop ins! Please arrive 15 minutes early to ensure a space. If you have an unlimited pass and reserve - please help us out by canceling if you plan on NOT attending!
Cost
After your initial 2 for $20 class pass, you are free to purchase a Flow Class Pass in the studio or online to attend Yoga Fundamentals or any other class at Flow. We recommend purchasing your passes online - you save 5% off the studio rates! |
