Become a Teaching Assistant at Flow!
Flow is now welcoming teaching assistants to assist students in our classes. If you are a Yoga Alliance registered teacher and looking to deepen your teaching skills and mentor with an experienced teacher while practicing your assists please email us to be considered. Include your Teacher Training graduation information as well as any other compatible experience. You may also include your preference for class and teacher you are interested in assisting. Preference for spots are given to Flow TT graduates but outside teachers are welcome to apply.
How the program works:
Once accepted, you will be matched with a Flow teacher and will be asked to commit to assisting his/her class on a weekly basis. In return for assisting in a Flow class you will receive once free class for each class assisted. We ask for a 4 month commitment.
Flow is seeking a studio manager!
Our studio manager will over see flow's daily operations including class check-in, customer service, eco-tique management, overall studio organization and assist in overseeing our team of studio assistants ensuring things flow smoothly!
Hours: typically 15-20 hours a week (a combination of weeknight hours between 5:30pm - 9:30pm and 1 weekend shift typically 9-5)
The ideal candidate will have:
*computer savvy know-how with the ability to work efficiently with programs such as excel, word, as well as learn our studio software "omsoft"
*strong problem-solving abilities and follow through
*effective organizational skills and attention to detail
*ability to work gracefully and attentively during busy studio times
*ability to provide unsurpassed customer service
*compassion, positive attitude, focus, initiative
*effective communications skills (verbal and written)
*ability and desire to be a team player as well as a role model to inspire co-workers
salary: $15/hour plus unlimited classes, discounts on studio workshops services and teacher trainings
